Signature Events Committees


The Chamber's goal is to provide members with professional and well managed events offering opportunities for sponsorship, showcasing their business, connecting with other business all while enjoying fun and fellowship. Task force committees are designed to complete a task or event and meet until the project is complete. 

Golf Committee

The Chamber's Golf Tournament encourages business to take advantage of the the their relationship with vendors and other business peers in the golfing atmosphere.
Teams sign up to compete and enjoy the day on the course.  The tournament is held in October.  Players and sponsors are treated to a welcome lunch and an awards dinner as the event progresses.  Committee members can expect to be involved by soliciting teams and sponsors for the event. Gala Committee

Typically held in January, the Chamber’s Annual Gala has grown into one of the premier events in the parish. Elected officials, local businesses and sponsors quickly reserve their table for this festive event. The Gala Committee hosts the reception reviewing locations, bands, menus and other festive options for a memorable evening. EXPO Wide

Business EXPO Committee 

2016 was the best EXPO yet! Building on the successes of the previous years' EXPO's, 2016 was a record in attendance. Hovering at 1000 attendees, the EXPO is a combined effort to bring a resource to our businesses while at the same time having an event that shines a positive light on all Livingston Parish has to offer. In 2016, we saw more traffic with job seekers, resume in hand, taking advantage of the opportunity to meet with more than 25 businesses that are currently hiring.

With OVER 115 vendors signed on in 2014 for the Chamber's Business & Community Expo/ Job Fair. Health screening were offered in the event as well. The Business Expo has quickly generated an excitement and interest that let's us know its time has come!The public is invited at no charge to attend the event and exhibitors will benefit from the face to face opportunity to get to know potential customers. The Business Expo was participated in by a record 25% of Chamber Membership providing a vital resource utilized by both business and community.
